My new Tacklife DM06 multimeter 2 automatic current and capacitance measurements electronzap

WARNING: As I explain and demonstrate in this video, current measuring capabilities of this meter are clearly limited compared to most meters. This should be taken into account if you are interested in buying it. I paid for this meter, which I have just recieved and have not used much, and all opinions I give in my videos are based on my limited use and research.

Video covering automatic voltage, resistance and continuity measurements using this meter

I just bought a Tacklife DM06 multimeter which takes various measurements automatically based on how you have the probes set up. In this video I take a look at how it automatically displays current or capacitance without changing any settings.

  • You can pull the ends of the tips of the probes and you get a long probe/tip

  • The probes are actually quite long, you just need to pull the insulators off them
    Great video, very informative.
For what it's worth, my brand new DM06 has started to fault. When switching on, the display now just cycles through random numbers and never settles back to – – -. I have only used it once, to check a 6v power supply voltage. Hope yours lasts longer.
