Bus operator Terence Layne has served his city for nearly 21 years — driving New Yorkers through September 11, Superstorm Sandy and now the coronavirus pandemic. He tells Lester Holt how he feels fulfilled helping others, but worries about getting infected.

  • Good for Terrance but why aren't there social distancing seats in the buses???? Some cities have implemented the rear door entrance and limited seating by restricting the next seat with a plaque….sorry no seating here due to social distancing measures.
