  • Maybe it would be better to build a house with a perfect sized room und buy audio equipment for only 500.000$.

  • I owned a high end audio store for many years. People would come in and were almost always gracious. Every once in a while someone would come in and say, oh lord, I'd never spend $X dollars for that…. then in the next breath would tell me how their new $3K propeller for their speedboat added 3 or 4 mph to the top end speed. Which one is more ridiculous? Neither… If it makes you happy, do it. It doesn't require trolling someone else's to enjoy your guilty pleasure. And it seems there's always someone who says 'I'll hire them to play at my house.' Live and enjoy.

  • Tape decks from $ 11.000. @ 20:20 Opus3 demo tape. @ 25:03 Cyndee Peters of Opus3, this is also one of my first preferred test tracks, but very good music too ! Although it is thru YT you can still hear the enormous quality of this system (and the recording of course) !

  • I really enjoyed this. If $1,000,000 can bring back a hot band from 1927 to sound like what I am hearing starting about 19:28, it's worth every penny. And this is coming over my $1,000. Bose Acoustic Radio via YouTube! I listen to this music on my old 78 Victor Orthophonic Records. Who can play this authentically the music of 1927 today? Perhaps Vince Giordano's Nighthawks?

  • Cost isnt' the last thing one should figure up. If you see it , hear it , and love it! You will have a few options. 1. you can wait for the funds to add up 2. Buy used gear when the seller has a very documented owners provenance, showing damage , repairs, upgrades , or the tweaks that some brainchild developed while looking at the latest issue of GoodBeaverMonthly … Buy the best you can afford and trade up as the stash grows. I have been trading since 1986 with car audio gear. Most high end HomeAudio/Theater shops will trade you up to the current model if you bought the previous current model that is being replaced due to outdated processing . from them and buy units with the last item purchased from them out of favor with the reviewer and rich.
